Cool little clock

EuropeanRat responds:

thanks! :D

Cool game, but why is it called robo nips lol? robot nipples

Chris responds:

Lol I made a similar game back in 2010 called RoboNipples featuring this same robot. The nipples aren’t visible in this game because of the art style but they can still be seen in Robot Factory, which is another game I made featuring this robot.

Pretty good, its like taking minesweeper and a platformer and mixing it together, interesting idea.

Pitigamedev responds:

Thank you for the review! This was exactly my idea when I made this game.

For TurboWarp this is a pretty good game, its simple but good!

P.S how did you get badges to work? I'm curious how it works with TurboWarp...

DrDevGuy responds:

badges work using this one extension called "newgrounds" and it allows you to interact with the newgrounds api, i highly suggest trying it out and if you need any help uhhhh, i could maybe help a tad bit but even i dont know how to fully use it as it is kinda clunky in my opinion. great extension nonetheless!

Ok, I like the idea, but it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. Here are my suggestions:

Looks: Adding different backgrounds for the menus (maybe with a subtle blur effect and mouse-following effect) could give the game a more interesting and fun look.

Sound: Adding some sound effects, like car sounds when you speed up, slow down, or are sitting idle, and some racing music would make the game feel more immersive. Any game will feel empty without sound.

Tracks: I was expecting to follow a set track and race against other karts, but instead, I’m alone on a circle and the laps aren’t being counted. There is also no boundaries, This makes it feel a bit boring. Adding some interesting track layouts to race on would keep things exciting.

Grammar: No offense, but the grammar in the “Message of the day” needs a bit of work. For example, it should say “Taken” instead of “Taked” and “And they dropped a bomb. Now all the tracks are destroyed.” Grammar mistakes are easy enough to make, but it’s important to ensure your text and dialogue are free of errors to make your game look polished."

TntStudios responds:

Gonna add this in V3.0 and when I give it the official release. Also, it was 3:00AM When I wrote the Message of the day, so, thank you so much, and like I said, I am fixing this stuff in V3.0, when it gets rebuilt!

Its ok, but I feel that it needs a few things, here are my suggestions.

First of all, some background music for the main game would make the game feel a bit better as it's a bit boring having no music apart from the title screen.

Next, some sound effects would be cool such as a collect sound, miss sound etc. to give the game a bit more fun-nes.

I also feel that it needs a bit more challenge or something, maybe some things to avoid like avoid the bombs or something.

Maybe try make the fall speed increase with each donught too, and maybe a time limit too or a 3 misses and you're out thing. just something to give it more challenge and plot to the game.

Finally, a high score system would be good so that the plot would be to beat your score.

Anyway, those are my suggestions.

OmgRod1 responds:

Thanks for these great ideas! There is one issue with your point about "Maybe try make the fall speed increase with each doughnut" because there would be a point when it's impossible to catch some of them.

Not a bad concept, I see what you were going for, but I have a few suggestions.

I feel its lacking something maybe... maybe some obstacles should be added (if not in there already...) or something to give it a difficulty increase...

Just a note, if you can, it would be better to program the game to be restartable rather than relying on the browser refresh function, having to reload everything all over again is a waste of time and power too as your pc has to use more power to reload everything all over again. it's not quite as efficient.

Generally, it's better to only reload only what defiantly needs to. In this case, just the game needs to reload, not the whole page.

Artistbluey responds:

Thanks for the idea i will now remake the game

Pretty good, although I agree with @guthrie a tutorial would help as I didn't notice the enemy plane at first and was just going in circles, I thought the game was broken...

Great game once you figure it out...

PS. Maybe some small pointers to track the enemies could be added too, like small little yellow triangles or something pointing to a nearby enemy so you know where to aim when they are out of view.

RowanFuture responds:

there are pointers, but they're purple, I guess I could make them more clear!
Thanks for the feedback
